Usage Information

Preparation:

Dirt,oil, grease, mold and mildew, and any other contaminates must be removed from the surface to insure that the paint has good contact with thesubstrate. Remove oil, grease, and any othercontaminants with strong detergent, TSP, or degreasers and rinse thoroughly. Make certain algaeor mildew is treated with bleach and rinsed thoroughly. Scuff sand existing coatings with 220-320 grit paper or coarse scuff pads.

Application:

Apply with a high quality brush, 1/4 to 3/8” microfiber roller or HVLP sprayer. Apply from dry to wet. Two coats may be required.

Limitations:

  • Do not apply when air or surface temperatures are below 50°F(10°C) or are expected to fall there before coating can dry.
  • Do not apply to a wet or damp surface or within 6 degrees of the dew point
  • Do not apply when it may rain or if dew may condense on the surface before the coating will have a chance to dry.
  • Do not allow to freeze. Store above 38°F

Drying Time:

Normally dries to touch in 1-3 hours and will be block resistant after 3-5 hours drying at 70f deg. plus. High humidity or heavy application mayextend drying and block resistance times
